A dynamic program for young Congolese aged 16–25 offering leadership training and academic support.

Program Overview

The Youth Empowerment Initiative is dedicated to building a strong foundation for the next generation of Congolese leaders. Designed for young people aged 16–25, the program offers leadership training, academic tutoring, career exploration workshops, and personal development sessions. Participants also engage in community service projects, building civic engagement and a sense of responsibility. The initiative has served over 300 young people since its launch.

Requirements

  • Ages 16–25
  • Congolese heritage or connection to the community
  • Parental consent for participants under 18
  • Commitment to attend weekly sessions

Youth advocate and educator with a background in social work and community psychology, focused on empowering Congolese youth across the diaspora.

Academic Coordinator

Education specialist with experience in curriculum development and academic coaching for underserved youth communities.
